My second interviewee is Abby, who came from Nyjiliya, Africa. His major is infomedian study. He want to change to IST.

It is very diffirent between Penn state and Abby's country. Here has lots of resources, more chance to be success. He like to study here because diffirent students from diffirent department, and he can get various knowledge.

Abby like Goaden walk, a Chinese restaurants, and Indian Pazalan, an Indian restaurants, which is also near campous.

On weekends, Abby likes to watch football, hike outside and depart with his daught.

He thought I should do ice skating outside.

My first interviewees is Rion, who is my neighbor's friend, an American. His major is classic intronidian study, something about history. His hometown is Oxford, PA. This Oxford is the third Oxford I heard.

Rion said state college is a college town, so the people are young, but his hometown has many farmers and they are older than people in State college. Some people work in factory in his hometown.

He like studying at Penn State because he can get various classes here.

He like Dochorse and Docles. They provide Hamburgs, but they are not like macdonalds. He can watch football game there.

In weekends, Rion likes to sleep and local camp ground.

He thought I should watch a Penn state football game. Another thing is visiting philadelphia, because there are many good museums.

Communication Assignment #1

I visited Matt, who is my neighbor. He struck up a conversation in a trip and he talked about water stream with the other. He start the conversation by asking question. Matt definitely shake hands when introducing himself. He seldom say "How do you do?", and he said "How is going?" instead. He always stand up when someone introduce friends to him since he think this is polite. He will talk with stranger in class or in barbeque, for social function. He like to start the conversation in class by asking questions.

For me,common interest or curiosity would motive me to talk to a stranger.

h. Yes. In front of HUB. We talked many topics, including music, constellations, major, hometown, and so on.

About the record: Cathy came to my apartment to have lunch and then she would help me to take furnitures. Our talk lasted 3 hours, but since the file is big, I can only submit 3 minites.

Interviewee’s background: Cathy is a christian, who worked for penn state's students, especially Chinese, for about 14 years. She married her husband for 45 years and have a big and happy family.

Communication Assignment #1_1

a. Yes, after dinner on this Tuesday, I was strolling and was absorbed by the music from a band named “Eighth Day”, who playing on the glass land in front of HUB. Besides my wife and me, only a few people were sitting on the glass land and listening, including an American student, whose name is Regis. After sometime, Regis and me smiled and said hello to each other and we began a long talk at that night.
b. Mostly I will. When I asked Regis “Can you play guitar?” and he answered “yes!” I shake his hand and said “Me too!”
c. I said “Nice to meet you” that day
d. Later when I was sitting near the band and listening, Regis introduced his friend Alisa to me, and I stood up and shake hands with her, because she didn’t sat down.
e. When someone was enjoying the same thing with me, or I was leisure at that time, I would like to begin a conversation.
f. Mostly I will say “Hello” to the students who are near me before I sit down.
g. Yes. Common interest or curiosity would motive me to talk to a stranger.
h. Yes. In front of HUB. We talked many topics, including music, constellations, major, hometown, and so on.

About the record: After talking for a long time, I remembered the homework of 003 and got out my phone to record. This piece of record is mainly about constellation and Google.

Interviewee’s background: Regis is a junior whose major is international human relation (I cannot remember it exactly.). He was born in Pittsburgh. He enjoy singing, playing instrument and astronomy.
